You only think you can't. The key is to learn to love the food. Study it the way you study basketball or study scripture. It's exactly the same. Believe, if I can learn, you can learn. I started out completely petrified in the kitchen, but now I can hang with my wife. And let me tell you that...ahem...well, let's just say the wife will *really* love you if you pick up this skill. They care first about the child and then about the birthparents and fos/adoptive parents, but what a ministry to all. And my husband and I can't think of a closer parallel to the way God adopted us into his family than our opportunity to give a family to a child who might not have one otherwise. What a privilege!
