After a warm afternoon at the park and watching her son sweat profusely Laura said, “What do you think about buzzing Ira’s head for the summer?” Ten minutes later and with clippers in hand, I had Ira in the bathroom ready for his buzz cut. This is the result:
after we shaved Tate’s hair, it was funny how big Tate seemed. and it is funny how we started treating him like a big kid. let me know if that happens to yall. maybe this research stuff is getting to me.

I’m not in favor of the buzz cut for men - but there’s nothing cuter on some little boys. Ira wears it well!
I remember his dad wearing a flattop for some time. I think Ira looks real good. Following in his dads footsteps is not a bad deal at all.

He is such a big boy! Lots of changes for that guy in just a few weeks. No trach, new bed, and a buzz cut. He’s growing up fast!
